PEEBLES Rovers chairman Colin MacDonald has stepped down from the post with immediate effect due to business commitments.
He was appointed chairman in December 2020 solidifying the connection with primary kit sponsors Brown Brothers Peebles where he is a company director.
A Peebles Rovers spokesperson said: “Peebles Rovers would like to go on record in thanking Colin for his time and commitment over the last 30 months or so, and he will always be welcome down at Whitestone Park when time permits.”
Mr MacDonald responded on social media, saying: “Great club, amazing people and an absolute pleasure to have been associated. The lads have started 2023/24 brilliantly and they deserve the town’s support.
“Can’t wait to be back as a fan and the very best of luck to all at Rovers for this season and long beyond.”
